The Royals and Rebels are still planning on ways to get rid of the other. Even after their last battle when the Royals came out on top the Rebels still have it in their mind that with time they will be able to out number and out power those that choose to stay with the Royals. However, the queen still feels like she was betrayed when those who chose to go against her killed the king. Mali, the queen, is going to try all the she can to kill those who ruined her family.
